Sherif El-Azzazi, MS

Sherif El-Azzazi is an Associate Financial Planner at Socha Capital, where he supports high-net-worth business owners and their families through comprehensive, forward-looking financial planning. Working alongside the firm’s Lead Planners, Sherif assists with analyzing client goals, designing custom strategies, and coordinating execution across investments, tax, retirement, estate, and insurance planning.

Before transitioning into financial planning, Sherif built a career in investor relations and corporate communications, advising public and private companies across renewable energy, real estate, healthcare, and technology, after earlier experience in financial services. His experience brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented, analytical perspective and supports his ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for clients.

Sherif holds a Master’s degree in Investor Relations from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cairo University. He previously earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Outside of work, Sherif enjoys staying active, following soccer, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. He is committed to giving back to his community and is an active member of Grateful Giving’s New York Leadership Council.
