Macord Foran is a Financial Planner at Socha Capital, where he partners with professionals, families, and business owners to guide, counsel, and protect them through life’s most complex financial decisions. A lifelong learner, Macord prides himself on staying ahead of evolving laws, rules, and regulations to provide proactive guidance. Macord believes in a methodical approach to financial planning—acting as the family CFO or quarterback by coordinating every aspect of a client’s financial picture. His goal is to guide, counsel, and protect clients through life’s inevitably difficult decisions, ensuring their wealth strategies reflect their values and aspirations.

Prior to joining Socha Capital, Macord began his career at Vanguard, where he graduated at the top of his class during licensing and built a strong foundation in financial markets. He later advanced his expertise as a portfolio manager overseeing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio for a nationally recognized private wealth practice, supporting ultra-high-net-worth households, and collaborating closely with CPAs and estate attorneys to deliver integrated planning solutions.

A Texas native now based in Fort Lauderdale, Macord brings a relationship-first mindset shaped by being the youngest in a large, close-knit family and early exposure to entrepreneurship, risk, and decision-making. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time on the water—whether boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze.
