Elliot James is an Associate Financial Planner at Socha Capital, where he supports high-net-worth clients with long-term strategic financial planning. In his role, Elliot works alongside senior planners to analyze complex client situations, deliver personalized solutions, and ensure clients receive the ongoing support they need to achieve their financial goals. 


Prior to joining Socha Capital, Elliot worked at a large insurance and financial services firm, where he supported lead advisors across investment operations and comprehensive financial planning. He brings a strong background in portfolio analysis, risk management, and retirement and legacy planning, and is passionate about partnering with clients to identify the best plan and strategies that build wealth and deliver peace of mind. 


Elliot is based in San Diego, California, where he lives with his girlfriend, Sophia and bulldog, Scoob. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active in the gym, exploring the beautiful beaches of San Diego, and cheering on Oregon athletics.
